Tax Regulatory Transactions Subcommittees
The IVCA Legal & Tax Committee monitors legal, regulatory, and tax developments, develops policy positions, coordinates advocacy, and provides guidance and best‑practice support to members. The committee engages with Irish and EU regulatory bodies and is structured with a Chair or Co‑Chairs, a Vice‑Chair, and 12–20 members who are legal, tax, and regulatory experts from VC firms and advisory practices. Its work is supported by three subcommittees: the Taxation Working Group, the Regulatory & Corporate Law Working Group, and the Transactions & Market Practice Working Group. Key activities include policy and advocacy engagement, member education and events, templates and best‑practice frameworks, and the annual legal and tax landscape report and conference. The full committee meets quarterly, subcommittees meet monthly or as needed, biannual updates are provided to the IVCA Council, and an annual strategic review and report is completed each year.
